Mehedi Abedin

Mehedi Abedin is a Bangladeshi Wikimedian and an active volunteer for the Dhaka-based Wikimedia movement. He contributes to the Bengali Wikipedia by writing and translating articles on history, heritage, and relatively uncommon topics. Additionally, he has served as a reviewer in various editing competitions on the Bengali Wikipedia and contributed to Wikimedia Commons by uploading photographs of Bangladesh and various Wikimedia community activities.

Beyond his on-wiki contributions, Mehedi is actively involved in various Wikimedia activities and organizational initiatives. He is engaged in publication and editorial work as the Chief Editor of the Bangla Wikipatrika, and has worked as a volunteer and documenter for various Wikimedia events. He also plays an active role in creating articles on unconventional and historical subjects by bringing some GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) projects on-wiki.
