Wikibooks Writing Contest 2025
The annual writing contest run by Bangla WikiConnect to create new books on Bangla Wikibooks through translation.
The Wikibooks Writing Contest 2025 is the annual contest for writing new books on Bangla Wikibooks, in which participants create Bangla books by translating from English Wikibooks.
Rules
- Entrants must be logged in; edits from an IP address do not count.
- Add your name to the entry list and choose a book from the designated list of books.
- Pages must be translated in full — partial translations are not accepted.
- Machine and Google translation are not accepted; if you use a translation aid, read and correct the result yourself.
- There is no limit on how many pages you may translate.
- Reviewers may enter, but may not review their own pages.
Dates and prizes
The contest runs from 7 May to 7 June 2025. Gift vouchers and printed certificates go to the ten leading contributors, and anyone who translates at least one book and has it accepted receives a digital certificate.
