Wikiquote Contest 2025
An online contest run by Bangla WikiConnect to improve Bangla Wikiquote by adding more quotation pages.
The Wikiquote Contest 2025 is an online contest on Bangla Wikiquote, held to improve the project by increasing the number of quotation pages. Begun in 2024, this is its second year.
How to take part
Create one or more quotation pages on any notable person or subject of your choosing and submit them for review. Plays, films, songs, books, short stories, poems and novels are outside the scope. A tutorial and a list of suggested articles are provided for newcomers.
Rules
- Each new page needs at least 150 words and three or more quotations.
- A reliable source is required for every quotation.
- Quotations from other languages must be translated into fluent Bangla.
- Anyone, anywhere in the world, may take part using their own Wikimedia account.
- Reviewers may enter, but may not review their own pages.
Dates and prizes
The contest runs from 7 April to 7 May 2025. Winners are decided on the total number of words added. Gift vouchers and printed certificates go to the leading participants, and digital certificates are awarded on the basis of accepted contributions.
